Himal Kalasutra Festival 2016
11th to 22nd of May 2016, Sarmoli, Munsiari, Uttarakhand , India

Every year in the month of May, around the Budh Poornima Full Moon, the community of Sarmoli and Shankhdhura host a Forest Fair around Mesar Kund a Forest Pond. This year is the 10th edition of the fair, the 12th year of working on and rejuvenating the once dying forest pond and also celebrating the spirit of the forest, the wild and the people of the area.

The fair is preceded by Himal Kalasutra - The Creative Edge Arts, Craft , Science and Adventure Festival.
